Slo grew up in New York state then moved to Ludlow , MA and played keys in the progressive power metal band Netherworld , who later became known as Counterpoint.
Once Counterpoint dissolved Slo began taking up guitar again , which he had played previously to learning keys , and hooked up with Denny to begin working on what would become 6thirty7.
Slo also plays bass in the Springfield based hardcore band Flatlined.
